The Shikari Tracking Guild is an international development project to capture, preserve, and disseminate the skills, art, and science of tracking. Wildlife inventory services are available for private landowners and land managers. Training options are available to those interested in developing tracking skill. We extend an invitation to participate to all those who are serious about learning the art of tracking and giving to their community.

Wildlife Inventory Services

Our wildlife consulting services inspire creative solutions for land managers, private land owners, and others with an investment in wildlife so that they may develop their vision and achieve their objectives for caretaking their natural resources. Comprehensive and cost-effective bio-diversity mapping enables clients to make wise choices based on a full picture of the conditions of natural resources.

Trackers collect field data, capture wildlife photographs with trail cameras (35mm and digital video formats available) and present professional reports, providing state of the art, ecological inventories and land resource presentations. The work of Wildlife Inventory Services includes the Bird’s-Eye-View-to-Track natural history inventories for any species of wildlife present, CyberTracker data collection and presentation technologies, the use of digital cameras, data management, storage, export to GIS/Arcview formats, report writing and research.

Tracker Training

The Shikari Tracking Guild collaborates with many organizations to provide training opportunities, including apprenticeships, workshops, and personal advising on a course of study to help you prepare for a professional or volunteer tracking career in your local community.

Current learning opportunities with the Shikari Tracking Guild include Native Eyes, the Regenerative Design & Nature Awareness (RDNA) Program and the Integral Awareness Program, all are collaborations with the Regenerative Design Institute of Bolinas, CA.
