When: April 15-17 Arrival between 3 and 5pm Friday  til 4pm Sunday

Where: Santa Cruz Mountains, California

For thousands of years & across cultures around the world, people have gathered stories and songs from the land.

The dynamic power of earth-based songs and stories help open the senses, heal old grief patterns, and reconnect people consciously with the power and beauty of place. They carry wisdom, meaning, and even culture itself from our ancient past right up until this present moment – and likely far beyond us into our future.

What if we could all tap into these timeless, magical arts to connect with the land, grow resilient community, and find our true expression?

In this workshop, we will examine the roots of storytelling and how to activate the powerful storyteller’s mind through the practice of music, shared story and nature experience. This popular workshop is one of our favorites! There will be many ways in which you will grow through the humble practice of music and storytelling – no matter what your skill level is or what past experience you have.

Join us in welcoming music to inspire the heart and awaken our intuitive connective awareness as we dialogue through song with the land, and with each other. Experience the weaving of music, intuitive practices & deep nature connection at this Santa Cruz special event – food and camping is included.

This is a Family Friendly event!

There is a nature connection and music and storytelling day program for children ages 5-12 on site. For younger kids and teens contact for more info. Cost is $150 per child.

The Youth Program for children 5-12 makes it possible for the whole family to attend and is a critical part of the living culture of awareness. The children have an enlivened experience of what it’s like to live in a village surrounded by adults, who are playing too, and looking out for them.

The program includes sensory awareness games and exercises, earth living skills, native scout skills, arts and crafts, music and storytelling, and getting to know the natural world through “native eyes.” Children learn these skills and knowledge through artful mentoring that taps into their passions and interests.

The format is similar to a day camp running from Friday evening through Sunday. The children’s program makes it possible for parents to participate in most workshop activities; however, there are some limitations you need to be aware of. Parents must supervise their children at all meal times as well as during the early evening and bedtime. For this reason, at least one parent may not be able to participate when evening workshop sessions are scheduled.

Per Adult – $350. Cost includes all meals and camping space.
